I think it's funny that people use nanotowers because of their lack of open-close time. I doubt that was a designed-in feature, but simply a lazy unit-maker who didn't want to bother with that crap. Also to build nanotower you dont need to use factory - thats very important.

BTW those t2 bombers are also great as defensive weapon. While their price is low, they can destroy army which price is a way higher (penetrators, banishers, etc.).
