if possible could u go through a little more description on that process, like i can get the server running on lan mode but what steps do i need to make after its sitting there and says waiting for connections
i will look up that other lobby right now as well,

LAN game between Linux and Windows
we have a computer that runs linux and a computer that runs windows, on both spring runs fine but i get confused by TASServer, the instructions seem very vaugue, we have a functional LAN that does not require a password or username, so im just asking what steps i have to go through to get this worki...

linux single player...i dont care how...i just want it
i have installed spring on my ubuntu fiesty distribution but have not found a single way to play a single player game for practise. ANYTHING will do....i tried aflobby but for some reason the single player option is grayed out.... i would rather not use wine but if thats the only solution then fine
