I'm in Fedora 10 and I can only run the springlobby as root after installing as a normal user. Here is a pastebin of my error message as a normal user.

Re: New Ubuntu Apt Repository for Spring

Re: New Ubuntu Apt Repository for Spring
I am in Intrepid and getting a broken spring-engine when trying to use the Hardy repository. I've compiled Spring from source before, but I've heard it doesn't compile in 8.10 yet either. Is there a way I could help get Spring running in Intrepid?

Re: std::bad_alloc
I still get this problem on a different machine altogether and with the ubuntu repository. Is this not a common issue?

Re: std::bad_alloc
I also have the same problem. It seems random and I can't reproduce the problem consistently. 2gb ram, 2gb swap, Ubuntu 7.10, compiled spring myself.

Re: Crash showing name of mod as error message
I'm sorry..I was probably tired when I wrote this post, I meant bots. But yeah, I'm sure I'm running the right version of spring and bots that are supposed to work.

Crash showing name of mod as error message
I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 with the Ubuntu repository (I've also tried compiling myself) and when I start a game, it counts down from 3 and crashes when the game usually starts. It gives the name of the mod (AAI, KAIK, etc) as the error message when it crashes. It doesn't matter which mod I try to star...

Re: Springlobby information popups
I downloaded via your git repository and it still gets popups. I even made sure to git-pull. Am I missing something?

Springlobby information popups
I compiled Spring on an AMD64 Ubuntu Hardy partition for testing and when I am in the lobby, I get popups for every event that should be just going to the console. For example, most of them say "Updating Battles". The annoying thing is, I have to clear them before clicking something else a...

Re: Issue with GLX Visuals
I'm getting the same error message after compiling Spring. I would use the Ubuntu repository, but it's down. I know I got the right resolution in my xorg.conf as I'm getting that resolution on my desktop. Any ideas?

Re: getdeb - a good place to put spring
I sure hope they do update promptly because as it stands right now, I can't play Spring anymore. The new version is out, but not for us Ubuntuers. shanepardue, don't fret, just check out the development forum. Yokozar (maintainer of the repo) says to give him 12 hours. :mrgreen: Hehe awesome! Thank...
