As for turning you can script the turning. Some Aircraft have fancy turning scripts so it would be possible to make the turn look quite ok. Morever you can blow up some individual men with TA scripting, if Spring had a better collision system you could let the men die which is actually hit. With the...

Since your "human" units are so weak and cheap, why dont you produce them in packs of five. So five men would count only as one unit. As they are so weak it wouldn't make sense to conrol them idividually. With some unit scripting you still can make them look like five guys. However they wo...

Well as long he dont work in the Game Department doing a similar work there should be no issue. However Spring for the new XBOX360 would be quite cool 8) Its normal that company dont allow ther staff doing the same things at work, and lets say if some MS employee would contribute to a OSS project wh...

Not exactly. I think TA.K has only a very basic simulation of the melee combat. Maybe they use some weapon modifiers or similar, but the dont fence and make blocks and the like. There were even some 3rd Party for OTA which had melee combat. My idea was if we can port TA:K to Spring easily,we have a ...

TA:K

As we speak of mods Tota Annihilation Kingdoms came into my mind. I unlike others liked the game but unfortunately it failed on its high expectations. As it was the succesor of the original TA the files use are almost the same like in TA. So here goes my question. Would it be possible to make TA:K r...

:?: How are mods handled?

Can Mods in PhoenixWorxs only be added by the PW staff or is every user allowed to host a game with his favourite mod. Allowing more mods would attract even more players. I like the idea of one big hoster however it should let a great freedom for the users. I personally don't like ladders in any gam...

The only workaround I see to this problem is to force calculations to be IEEE754 compliant and have the same roundings on all platforms. I don't know if it's possible, and I don't know if it would not seriously tamper performances on some platforms. It is possible, in the worst case via a software ...

After spring was released we saw new maps and new mods coming up quiickly. Its already a Problem to get a few players with the same units. So i have an idea how to solve this Problems. 1 The will be a new column which says which MOD is played. The host has to chose a MOD before creating a battle roo...

I am also for MOD folders. After startup you can simple choose your MOD and start playing. If not its to troublesome for some ppl to fuss around with file copying and the like. But i think the SY will find a good solution anyway

i am for the last choice. I really would prefer a standardisized format for clan tags. Allowing a icon for each clan would be great. It also would allow the clan to differentiate more than some l337 clan tags.
