Re: women
Let me take this opportunity to rant too, why girls are obese anywhere is a mystery to me when a couple of months at the YMCA would do wonders for them. I count it as sheer laziness, and turns me off even more. If I can pound the living shit out of my body to squat 350 lbs and bench the same then w...

Re: women
Go to any place with women you might actually like. See if there is some not talking too much/drinking too much. Now get close and try to talk about anything. Don't go right to the point. Talk maybe about the place or if she's wearing something cool or that you like her hair. Women like to have atte...

Re: Mods X AI's
AAI used to work fine, but nowdays no one seems to make it plays more than a few minutes without crashes. I dont think its the language choice that matters for a good AI, and maintenance of one will only be kept working if you got people who knows about: a) general understanding of the mods where th...

Re: Shard
Yup, 2 AIs filled everything, but the BA script is only buildinng LLT, pewees, solar and mexes. Build a single strong mech and watch the world fall. But couldnt manage to play much, it got too slow. I'm still learning LUA itself and geting a hold of the general structure, the first think I want to a...

Re: Mods X AI's
The linux issue should be moot as long as you use a distro with good package managenment. If I managed to build spring yesterday first try anyone could. One can even use a meta-package to get all the right dependencies in one set, but thats no excuse to complaining against VS developers  I kno...

Re: Mods X AI's
AI "learning" (as seen in a few Spring AIs) is about a completely different thing, they can't learn anything about commands. Basically learning just tells the AI which units to build, and NOT how to best use them. It is, but could be made othewise with enough info. Basic AI learning is al...

Thanks, got it working. Used the BA script with TA and worked. Just need to remind myself of never again test a new AI with 5k unit cap

Re: Mods X AI's
I think they could be made some kind of command list the AI's could query, try and see what happens (put all non unit stuff there, morphing, custom commands, missile building, and made it query-able for every unit). Some AIs can learn and then with some statistic figure it out when its good or not (...

Re: Mods X AI's
I think morphing can be a second step On tech annihilation you can get up to at least LVL 3 without morphing.

Mods X AI's
I'm looking for any AI that can decently use Tech Annihilation (or SBA, whatever name it got now). I really like mods with increased tech trees and find that to be a fine mod at that. Unfortunally, I cant seem to make any AI work decently with it (by being descent, build all units of the tech tree, ...

Re: NTai XE9.79B2 pre-release
Well, in the profiler/debugger issue, you can try to use kdevelop. It can debug c++ code, for linux and windows (under cygwin). It has a VS-ish look, so it may not be that hard (I didn't tried, I didn't use C/C++ in a looooong time)

Old Turbo C 25 old user here as well, as well as turbo pascal (what an awesome IDE at the time). I don't really like C, but C++ isn't looking that bad after all those years... and yes, DOS really has it's uses, specially if you combine then with the gnu tools providing linux like pipe ready commands...
