Not to sure if this bug/feature has been listed or not. Anyway I was playing speed metal and the enemy build a huge number of nuke launchers. We had just enough anti nuke launchers to hold it together. Part of my base spontaneously blew up and a nuke hit my ally even though we had enough anti nukes....

Please unban 87.194.35.228, bugged out and autobanned for flooding.

Also, if not just IP banned please unban Orakio (main account), [C12] (which is used for testing/developing springlobby) and AH[OKO] (used for springie/autohost).

I can't help it, I first started playing RTS with C&C where the strategy was basically to build wall closer and closer to the enemy who were too stupid to do anything about it.

Whoever is responsible for tasclient in the next spring release, can you please make sure that foreground and background colours are defined for all visual entities. BAsically I have a black theme and tasclient sets the text colour as black so I can't see it. ...

So sounds to me mostly pointless, better to have a unit that shrouds near by units?

Using hitbyweapon also sounds like a kludge. With that, might as well just increase the hp or use armour instead.

Well yeh I just sort of slapped the wall out without much thought although I did have the general idea of making it a pain for the enemy to send a con to reclaim. also makes a good psychological barrier. I don't think I spent more than 2 seconds on it. I almost forgot about it until I had the chance...

I imagine some part of it is simply due to the fact that spring doesn't support the quality of textures and effects that games like supreme commands do.
