If I am not mistaken flares were used in TA as firing points,notice when building a Bertha or other big structure/unit the yellow flares,and the smoke can by tied to a single vertex but has to be called in the bos/cob file.

One way to smooth out your heightmap is to open it in ps or whatever paint program your using and Moir'e pattern removal with fine detail set at 2 with band removal at 0.

That should smooth out almost any heightmap.

I played 3 games of AA so far and was releived to see some of my Fav TA 3rd party stuff in there until I get hit with a flying Fortress...... Those need toned down a tad since missile forests arnt effective in spring. I mean come on 6-7 Vamps and 15 or so anti-air ground units couldnt take one out.....

What settings would I use for making Terrain in Bryce ?Would it be the same as in TA ?I have read the wiki and nothing there (that I could find) about setting up Bryce or Terragen.

Just wondering is there a way to get the 3do max importer to work with 3ds max 7.This would be very handy.Also there is a utility called Chili-Skinner that helps in the creation of uvmapping in gmax and 3dsmax.

How to run a mod

Ok I downloaded the TAK mod and cannot figure out how to get it to run.I tried the SpringSP wich shows the Kingdoms mod but when I click on the name to switch it I get a runtime error9.I have also tried dropping the base mod file into the Spring directory to no avail.
