I don't know if there should even be a unit like the Krow really. ATM it's almost more of a game ender than a krog or cap ship, since you can't keep it from flying all around. Perhaps cutting back the Krow's health and giving it regen? I like that idea. It makes it different from most planes where y...

What are everyone's thoughts on the Core Krow? I agree it needed an improvement, but they are nearly unkillable in numbers. What works well against them? Must be TONS of stealth fighters because ground defenses don't last long at all against a few krows. Personally, I'd like see the health of the kr...

Re: Sea taking Land Hypothetical scenario: Large water map, but with land masses large enough to require a ground force to capture. - Missile ships outrange most land based defenses, with the exception of birtha's and tac missiles. The cruise missiles range is 1550, annihilators are 1400, and everyt...

As a die-hard core player, I've never had a problem with lvl2 arm vehicles, and I rarely use artillery or missile trucks. Gollies / Reapers in front, along with a sea of level 1 units as a damage soak. Behind them, banishers are quite awesome, and if needed I'll mix in pillagers, which ARE definitly...

Not that we need to bring realism into the discussion, but naval units in RL typically have the longest range capabilities for firing inland of anything. Modern missile destroyers or WW2 -> Vietnam era battleships could shoot massive distances inland. You could make an arguement that a birtha ship a...

My View of Buzzsaw/Vulcan: It's a long range siege weapon, intended to inflict massive collatoral damage over a wide area. Defensively it ca be used to bombard inbound enemy units and deal moderate damage to their forces. If you want to target something specific at long range, then build a birtha or...

Hmm, I wonder is there is any way we could get 2-3 different maps packaged with the full spring installer. Mars and small divide are certainly not a good representation of cutting edge maps for someone downloading spring for the first time, but I understand keeping the file size small is worthwhile....

Reasonable enough suggestions. Given how things go i was actually planning on just posting 32 maps on the wiki that I thoughts merited additional attention. I was going to use the various flames, OMG's, and how could you's as the feedback to drum up other suggestions and or tweak the list. I'd also ...

Spring Maps : Top 40 Charts
Hello all. I'm interested in assembling and maintaining a decent wiki page to track the better maps available at any given moment. My initial thought is to treat this collection as a mapping equivalent of top-40 music charts. Whether it's actually 40 maps, or more like thirty (or even less) can be d...

Say what? JK. I just tried BOTA a little while ago and had a fun time with it, although a the unit balance and huge ranges were a little off putting. Plus BA looks so very fine right now. Been having a good time with BA too though, just thought a little mutator could be amusing. BTW, Core Banishers ...

Just a thought / suggestion: The BOTA mod (basically OTA) allows units to shoot through friendlies and target the ground even if there is a friendly unit at that point, much like the behaviors from OTA. I'm wondering if this could be implimented into BA, possibly as a mutator to test it out. What wo...

Groovy. EDIT: Played a great 1v1 last night on tangerine. Couple things to mention: 1) We noticed that ARM doesn't have a rez bot. I was pretty sure that cavedog eventually released a 3rd party arm rez bot. Either way, I think you may want to consider adding one in, as it is a unit either side shoul...
