submarine, a report: (also for Veylon) OTAI 1.12 vs AAI 0.60 Map 1: 2v2 on Painted Desert (nice and open) Map 2: 3v3 on Plains and Passes (even larger and also very open) Mod: AA 1.44 (my favorite by far) Mix of ARM and CORE on both sides Overall results: OTAI won 3 times in Painted Desert battle, A...

Ok AF, I worked on this for about an hour last night before I had to give up in utter frustration; I simply can't get NTAI to follow even a simple buildtree. The explanation you put up at Darkstars was great, it explained all those tags etc. quite nicely. So I decided to try to program a simple buil...

Sounds good. Just out of curiosity, if one of its factories is destroyed, does AAI try to recomplete its collection? I have seen it have its adv. veh. plant destroyed once, and it never seemed to try to replace it. That could have been a one-time thing though, its hard to observe because most of the...

I agree, it really is quite impressive. It masses forces, and manuevers on the battlefield rather than just walking in a straight line. Also, after observing more games, it is starting to build more powerful defenses. I saw it build a Punisher for the first time last night. It also plays pretty well...

Just for the record, from my observation NTAI builds plenty of energy, more than enough to fully power its economy and energy-consuming weapons... the commander does wander around a fair amount, however, but I think that is partly tied to the messed up build order where he doesn't really seem to see...

For example, AAI rarely builds anything beyond LLTs and missile towers, maybe a HLT or two. NTAI built a fair amount of GAAT guns and even some medium plasma turrets like Punishers. that's no surprise at all, if you use a relatively fresh aai insattlation ... So you mean this is WAD, right? That ma...

AF, I ran a bunch of AI tests this weekend just for the fun of it, testing AAI and NTAI. NTAI had serious problems. NOTE: I never actually fought NTAI against AAI, only NTAI against itself and AAI against itself. Also note that I used AA 1.44. This was my first foray into AI vs AI testing, I'll prob...

Looking better and better. It is true, lack of a nice GUI really does keep people away. I honestly think SpringSP should be shipped with the main download package, it would really help someone who is just getting started. In my case, I downloaded the full game, but it took me a while to make sense o...

This is a great project, especially for those players like me who have lots of experience with OTA but are totally new to Spring. So excellent work. it is much appreciated! I love those last screens, and I agree the one with the sun logo is awesome. Please keep the original TA feel, it really helps ...
