The counters

Samson is useful. People have been saying that even with a "counter unit" that the samson is OP. So lets look at what can "counter" the samson shall we? Flash/gator is possibly the best, the most common spammed vehicle... this is not some weird/never-built unit people!!! Stumpy/r...

Just wanted to add my voice to Daywalker and Randy. Vehicles, as a whole, do not need enhancements at the moment (Sure, the instigator needs a nerf). On flat maps, I will *always* go vehicles unless I want to provide myself with a handicap by going kbot. Always. I want to see one of these proponents...

Pxtl, one is level 1 and one is level 2. Level 1 anti-air should NOT be on an even footing with level 2 air. Yes, but one is a fast moving plane that can be practically anywhere on the map within moments and can destroy most classes of targets, and the other is a kbot that is limited by terrain and...

... Of course, that will also make jethros even better against gunships ;). I hate the idea of level 1 anti-air totally destroying level 2 air... BWAHAHAHAHAH. Did you not read the earlier post where it was found that Jethros were, metal-to-metal, about equal to gunships? Considering the massive mo...

gunships are already only useful until they get anti-air (mercury rocks, flaks, etc)... Given the "slow them down" change you already implemented... Gunship brake rate reduced 25%, acceleration reduced 20%, speed reduced 15%, rotation reduced 10% I'm not sure any further nerfing is warrant...

Tech1 fighter does not need a nerf. Defenders RAPE them. Build some anti-air. Crashers, samsons (which should be better against air, IMO), defenders. Tech2 fighters need to be buffed. Caydr, no offense but why on earth the fusion reactor change? I already rarely build them, now I never shall =(. Jus...

I liked the flea idea to keep it up =p. Defeat by flea infestation, I like it. The peewee charge won't really kill them, if you have a few staggered pitbulls, their painful due to AOE and impulse factor against peewee..hehe. Air was a bit tough since he had anti-air around...Wasn't like I could stay...

Pitbull/Viper and Annihilator

1) I was speccing a game and was amazed to see an annihilator kill a golliath in 2 hits. 3000hp damage per shot? Seemed a bit high to me, thought i'd point it out to Caydr. And here I thought Golly's were tough =). 2) I think Pitbulls and Vipers are still too powerful. Given any kind of narrow passa...

Noize, I agree with your points but can you change your tone a little? I understand your frustrated but being angry and insulting Caydr won't help =). Regarding the vanguard, Its an extremely expensive unit. It fires once every 4 seconds. So it hits the peewee and kills some. By the time it fires ag...

I've played arm vehicle quite often when the map warrants it (ie: not super hilly). Consul is absolutely fine IMO. Vehicle economy is a little slower (not much actually) but provides alot of bang for the buck. Stumpy armies are great hehe. Flashes rule early on too. Samsons are good multipurpose if ...

My testing was for the units actually and then we tested the pitbulls/vipers to see which units would do better against those =). IMO though, AA has been giving porcers more and more of an advantage lately. Its a trend i've noticed and this latest patch just pushes us further in that direction...Shr...

Don't forget how 3 pitbulls took out 2 golliaths...heh. Thats 2500 metal for the golliath and 1500 metal for the pitbulls =). One pitbull was almost dead, i'll give the golliaths that ;D. We tried viper/pitbulls against sumos, pyros, fidos, zeus, morty, golliath, maverick (haha, I stand by how much ...

Not a problem, people can disagree with me if they want =). I'll happily add that snipers are quite fun these days. I'd build EMP spiders, zeus, snipers...Maybe rocket spiders for the all-terrain. Not a fan of the fatboy although he has been improved since last I used him. One way ARM is beating bac...

I don't know how long its been since i've built a maverick. Fact is, its damage is great but its so fragile that its not worth the cost. That whole "must survive multiple battles" thing doesn't work that well because frankly, thats hard to do with it dying so easily. Caydr says its not a u...

An llt costs 61 metal. Just how many units should two of them stop? hehe. I'd think 5 flashes rushing at 2 llts would take some pretty decent damage before the llts died. (Haven't tested). BTW, NOIZE...that instigator "nerf" you mentioned was actually a correction after making them do ALOT...

How about this, Forboding. When I can play again starting this Sunday, i'll play core exclusively for awhile. Lets see if I start agreeing with you that core is weak compared to ARM =). Sound fair? You may notice that I did not go into detail into what its like to play core in my previous post, exac...

Hehe, why are people saying Core is weaker? Yeah, brawlers beat Rapiers... But morty beats (if played correctly) any arm lvl 2 kbot unit in a cost-for-cost scenario (At least it did at 1.35 AA when I tested). So does the sumo in fact (specially when you have 3+ of them moving together). The Goliath ...
