| Description | Something is causing the rendering the rendering to massively fail on my machine, causing an effective hang (~0 fps) on Ubuntu 14.10 with nvidia drivers, via primusrun. The issue is not present on 98.0.1-408-g2b50e62 but is present on 98.0.1-423-g4a6e653. The issue is not game-specific: it happens in BA, ZK, and TechA. There were no recent driver updates on my machine; older versions of Spring up to and including 98.0.1-408 still work. The issue does not requires any input on my part to manifest, and occurs even with DebugGl and DebugGlStacktraces turned off. | ||||

I've now cleanly recompiled 98.0.1-414-gb6fd3c5 from scratch, ensuring no effects from previous builds and testing without DebugGL* 98.0.1-414-gb6fd3c5 is "bad". |

98.0.1-427-g85071eb is still bad in the sense of me having ~0 FPS with ZK: http://paste.springfiles.com/view/b6d2b127 TechA: http://paste.springfiles.com/view/a3061ee4 BA: http://paste.springfiles.com/view/57bca028 It seems like in case of TechA, there are no errors in infolog despite DebugGL=1 and DebugStacktraces=1. What. I've double confirmed that this is not *because* of DebugGL*: http://paste.springfiles.com/view/1aff0d35 On some level it makes sense however with 414 being bad. I'll compile and test older versions now. Since this seems to still occur without any GL errors in infolog, i think the bug should be edited (rendering hang -> hang; driver problem -> general) |

Here's a TechA infolog with -408 which is good (works fast). It still has all the GL errors 0_o. http://paste.springfiles.com/view/4e528467 Directly testing 98.0.1-414-gb6fd3c5, it's definitely bad. 413 is good. 414 is the first bad commit. |
