Summary0001761: Far-Textures all have the same team color
DescriptionFar-Textures all have the same team color (team 0, i guess).
This is inconvienient of course.
As i dont know much about this stuff... would it need to much GPU memory to have one per color per unit (per 8 directions)?
if so, then we maybe should use the gaia color instead of the one of team 0, and advise the users to use something else, like the Team Splatter widget to identify the units team visually.

The description is wrong.

They don't always use the color of team 0. They seem to pick at random the color of one of the team with some units in view.

It's not realted to far texture either. The wrong team color happens also when I'm very zooming in (but still see units of two teams). And doesn't happen when I'm zoomed out as long as I only see the units of one team.

It's more that the engine cannot handle anymore drawing on the same screen two team colors at once.

Radar icons are always the proper team color, btw, both on minimap and both when it iconize because of far zoom.

Shards of exploding units are also of one color disregarding the team they belong to, but funnily it doesn't pick the same color as for live units.

Far-textures could be drawn with a shader and blended with the team-color dynamicaly, but I wouldn't bother going to such lengths unless it REALLY inconveniences you. :)
