FirsttimeEE
When you joined the battleroom you were like "yea iam so pro right" but now you are no longer so sure?
The game is about to begin and there is too little time to read the whole wiki-page about E&E?
So here comes the ultra-easy guide:
Which side do I want to play?
For the beginner GD is probally better.
Their units are tanks and everybody knows what tanks are good for.
==What buildings should I construct first?==
1) Start next to a group of metalspots. Press F4 if you can not see them.
2) Use your Commander to build at least 3 metal extractors.
You can que the buildorders up by holding shift if you want to.
Note how the GD metalextractors also produce some energy.
3) Now comes the tricky part: In E&E, factories are built by constructions-hubs.
So use your Commander to build one of those.
4) Use the construction hub to build a light factory.
The Commander can speed this up if you rightclick him on the factory while it is built.
5) Your Commander can now leave the startarea to build some more metalextractors.
Pay attention that you do not drive too far away because he has no weapons!
6) When the factory is done, order the hub to build a Nuclear Power Plant, because you when you start producing tanks your factory will drain more energy.
7) Also build a Radar using the hub, it will tell you about enemy activity in its area.
After the first minutes your base should look like this:
Now you are ready to produce some tanks for attack or defense!
But...
==What units should I build with my first factory?==
1) Build one or two Scouttanks.
They are only armed with a small machinegun but you can use them to search for the enemy and maybe kill some of his metalextractors.
Also, try using them to build a fieldradar (or a hidden camera) in the enemy territory. This can prove very usefull.
2) Build some Battletanks to guard your commander while he wanders around and builds metalextractors.
3) Use construction units to expand across the map and start raids against the enemy!
4) Building a Energystorage and a Metalstorage can be life-saving when your Commander gets killed.
Advanced Notes:
-Don't be a victim of the airrush!
Construct a flakturret at your factory and some more all around the map.
Almost all units can shoot at planes, but they usually miss.
-When your metalincome is bigger than ~20, construct a second factory!
Building more Hubs and using them as Nanotowers alá BA will not speed up production.
-The constructions vehicles can also build waterstructures
-There are no metalmakers. So the more land you controll, the more metalextractors you can build. Easy.
This is not suppossed to be a page where you can read about supersecret supertactics.
It is for all these people who do not know what a hub is and who spend their money by building random stuff in front of their allies factories or are asking why the dgun is broken.
