These events occur prior to the period the game is set in

All events prior to 5112 are taken from the databanks aboard the 'Calhudri'. All other data sources have been lost

2340 China becomes democratic. Its also very overcrowded on Earth

2412 Moon Colony set up by the USA. However, is very expensive to move people back and forth, and so has very little effect on overpopulation

3011 First man on mars

3214 Mars colony set up by the USA. Same downfalls as the Moon Colony.

3215 Mars colony wiped out when an out-of-control repair vehicle smashes into the side of it and ruptures the colony wall, releasing all the air and killing the occupants. Moon Colony disbanded.

3998 The British Space Program completes its plans for a Colony Center as a method of reducing overpopulation, but find they cannot afford the construction. China offers to buy the plans. Britain sells them the plans. The USA becomes jealous as, with China and Japan constantly inventing technologies every month, they are becoming more powerful than the USA. Especially after the Mars Colony Incident

4011 The Colony Center 'Calhudri' - a joint venture by the Russians, Japan and China - is sent mysteriously off course and leaves colonised space. Tensions flare as an idependant Austrailian investigation uncovers hard evidence of US involvement. The 'Calhudri' loses radio contact with its Chinese communication satellite. Now those aboard the 'Calhudri' do not know whats happening on Earth, and with all data prior to 5112 lost, no-one knows exactly what happens:

All that is known is that, when it was rediscovered by the GHE, Earth's atmosphere had deteriorated completely and all life was destroyed. All electronic data was lost due to electro-magnetic interference. The only ones to survive were those aboard the 'Calhudri', and those on a second Colony Center called 'New Horizons', built primarily by British and Chinese engineers (The British had designed it and the Chinese had experience with building the first). They recieved funding and passengers from all around the world (except from the USA), and set off somewhere between 4041 and 4151. However, it crashed while attempting to land on a colonisable planet, and all data aboard it was lost. Most passengers survived, and the new planet was named Terth, (though its commonly referred to as 'Earth 2'

4023 The population of the 'Calhudri' has since risen from the original 1210 to 3104. Fortunately it was designed to hold 5,000 - the first launch was mainly testing its colonisation capabilities, and also to find somewhere to colonise The control of the 'Calhudri' navigation systems are regained (it was sent off-course by altering it's course and encrypting most systems). 'Calhudri' lands perfectly on planet L-Lyra. Groundwork for a new city in place.

5112 Known history recommences. Humanity is left in ruins. On Terth, the passengers of 'New Horizons' have more or less gotten to the technological level of the early second millenium (that of the year 2000-3000). L-Liyra and another planet, Shishira have been colonised by the 'Calhudri' passengers.

6217 The passengers of the 'New Horizons' finish building a new one. It launches at the very end of the year

6218 'New Horizons' passengers have colonised two planets. The Psychasi have colonised seven.

6967 'New Horizons' passengers have colonised 69 planets. The Psychasi have colonised 56 - having found the are rich in resources, they don't need to hunt for it.

10,000 The GHE have colonised 215 planets. The Psychasi have colonised 106.

20,000 The GHE have 701 planets, the Psychasi, 573

29,231 The GHE colonise their 1000th planet

30,000 The GHE have 1132 planets, the Psychasi, 985

30,412 The Psychasi colonise their 1000th planet

May 32351 GHE scanning probe 'Calanura' is launched. It manages to slip past Psychasi border defenses. It detects high ore concentrations in the Western sector of the galaxy

July 32351 GHE exploration probes are sent to the Western sector to find colonisable plants. These don't pass through the Psychasi border defenses and are all collected. They never return. The Psychasi commence investigations into where they come from

November 32351 First contact. Tessarin forces wipe out colonies on three GHE planets. GHE-Tessarin war begins
