Psychasi

A mix of humans from an abandoned GHE colony and alien refugees from several races (fleeing from the Tessarin no less) that have been recently discovered when the GHE expanded to find resources. Whatever simpathies the Psychasi had with the CRU they have lost after the CRU took to raiding Psychasi supply ships for foodstuffs and equipment. They have a vague idea of the GHE-Tessarin situation from the alien refugee's accounts of their experiences, but are on the wrong side of the galaxy to be able to do anything.

Psychasi weapons of war are powerful but resource heavy. Their vehicles have better mobility (hovercraft) but have lighter armour to help keep them off the ground. Because they have the resource-rich area of space, the Psychasi economy is quite effecient (good power and ore income), and whilst the Psychasi are fighting fewer conflicts their standing army is somewhat smaller (slightly longer buildtimes than the norm)

Psychasi infantry units, being well equipped, can generally hold their own against ground forces of equal size, but then, life's hardly that fair in the CZTA universe - the Psychasi are often outnumbered, and vs the Tessarin, outgunned too. However they are the most mobile and have the best economy. Just keep the tanks on the move...
