Galactic Human Empire
The Galactic Human Empire is on the verge of collapse. Hard pressed to keep the Tessarin at bay the GHE Goverment was forced to introduce conscription. With most of their resources expent on the war the ordinary people are running out of food. After making the stark discovery that the fertile Western sector has already been claimed by the Psychasi the GHE has no way of gathering large scale resources. Now some have started up a resistance movement known as the CRU (Civilian Rights Union) and they are rapidly gaining support, including that of the Psychasi. The survival of a very large proportion of humanity hangs on a thread, and humanity itself isn't helping very much.
GHE weapons are the least powerful of the three playable races but still pack quite a punch. Their tanks are slower than those of other factions but are the most functional - least accident prone and thus least energy/metal intensive. The conscripts aren't particularly brilliant (mostly untrained - slower and innacurate), but they're cheap. Most other units are well trained and are thus effective fighters. The only real problems with the GHE is to do with resources - they hardly have any. Their units aren't too resource intensive on the field, but they cost to build, and energy/metal production is quite bad. They do, however, have good reclaim abilities and (If I can wangle it so that they can only capture resource buildings) can capture other team's resource structures. Whilst the GHE army is quite big, its fighting a war on all sides and within - the army has sustained heavy losses and is stretched thin. Thus, with the exception of conscripted units, GHE units will take longer to build
Conscripts cost a bit less than regulars and have much shorter build times, but to not have access to specialist equipment (they don't know how to use it) and, being poorly trained, are slower (infantry are unfit, vehicle drivers don't really know how to drive their vehicles properly) and their weapons are less accurate. Their LOS is shorter too (they don't know what to look for) and the health is reduced slightly (easier targets). They are built from their own special barrack facilities
Regulars are mostly whats left of the GHE pre-invasion army. They cost a bit more than conscripts, and are much rarer (longer buildtime), but they are far, far better troops. They have access to specialist equipment (Artillery, Snipers, Radars, Aircraft, several Tanks and most buildings are considered 'Regular'), a slight health boost (harder targets to hit), have longer ranges and LOS (do know to look for) and are faster and more accurate (fitter, know how best to use their vehicles)
