Concerning global warming...
Well lets preface to say that if you believe that humans are causing the planet to warm up, you're and idiot and need to take some basic science courses, however htat's not the point of this post...
On the radio today in a news report by cbs news, there was a story on a study/confab/retards bashing heads together, which put out a list of findings. Among these findings was this little Gem.
We will see a water shortage...
Little later on in report-
...Will be seeing massive flooding.
At that point I scratched my head, said "Huh???" and called in the roflcopter.

massive flooding != drinkable water.
even if pollution does not heat up the atmosphere, it kills the forests with all the poor trees. you will find out sooner or later that this not good.

Wait, are the stupid Americans the ones who don't belive in Global Warming, or those that do?
I have to point out that climet shifts and mass extinctions happen. They've happened before humanity. And they'll happen after humanity. But the neat thing about being human, is that we can actually do something about it. Or can try.
Even if we're not causeing Global warming, we should still try to cut down on polution.
Which we are. My dad used to tell me stories about how he'd go outside and on some mornings his eyes would STING, that's how bad the polution was. It never gets that bad anymore, at least not in our city.
Oh and our cars now give off 93% less polution. That's...kinda good improvement...

lol, people completely miss the humor...
Water shortage, Massive flooding. They did not say drinking water shortage, they said water shortage then went on to talk about massive flooding.
Jesus christ, am I the only person here that has a sense of humor? More likely than I think...
Edit: As I said, below, not a global warming discussion, it was just funny.

Ha! Someone else brought up the 1500's thing! I keep telling my freinds, we're comming out of a mini-ice age. And my freinds are like "Huh?"
I usually point at houses and shout, "It was the cold spell in the 1500's that inspired these houses! Old houses were build differently and were colder. We changed to smaller rooms, more fireplaces, glass windows, and..."
Five hours later.
"...then we got the Atomic bomb, all thanks to the plow."
My freinds have usually left by this point and I realize I've gone way off topic.
And yes, I thought that was funny. I was just distracted by other posters.

Thank you Jesus! There is hope in the world... People may once again have an unfettered laugh once again... Less likely than you think.
On an unrelated nope are you aware that in old english a "Faggot" is a bundle of sticks? You're sure to get some horrified looks when you mention that you put an extra faggot in the campfire.

And when you start going on about it I look at the screen, shake my head and mutter "god, what an idiot".
Not everyone shares your view, but that's the wonderful thing about being free, you may have your view and I can have mine, deal with it.
