Beyond the Red Line is a fan-made BSG game. They released a 'demo' of this open-source, freeware title and holy frakking tarballs... this is a great game. Give it a shot if you like space shooters:

Reminds me of VegaStrike. It was a great game, but unfortunately the project was dead for a long time. and it had some irritating issues that made me grow tired of it.

It reminds me of the IFH game for Babylon 5 with better graphics, sound and general production values.

Same gameplay though. And IFH was AWSOME!

So, this is awsome too.
