Browser games:
GW, DE, both bullshit by now. They're german browser games.

MMORPGs:
Anarchy Online for some months.
WoW for 2-3 months.
Guild Wars for some time.

MMORTS':
Are there any? There are some multiplayer only RTS', never played one. I can only repeat what fang said Fang here.

I don't play any and don't plan to do so, they take away what little free time I have.

I am really looking for a good strategical browsergame or mmorts

For users who understand german, visit starcoders.de, they have some great games (complex and with many possibilities), but they lack great devs (as we have here ^^).
So the community there is slowly dying and the games need to be rewritten etc......

Shattered Galaxy is an MMORTS, or rather an MMORTT.

It's not a bad game, but it has balance issues, and ultimately suffers from classic MMORPG problems, most notable "OMG I R 20 LEVELZ ABOVE J00 I PWNZ0R J00 without even trying" and "ZOMG I have to play 20 days to go up one level ZzZzZzZz".

Im taking a break from Eve Online atm. That game can suck you in completely and not let go. (well kinda like all the other MMOs out there) Difference from other MMOs being the lack of dumbasshats, the average player is 27.

Looking forward to Infinity too. Looks like its taking the best from Eve, Freelancer, Freespace and adding a bit of homebrewed pwn to the mix for massive damage.

I used to play a game called TDZK many years ago, sort a browser version of EvE. It took to much time for too little reward.

Edit: I just googled it and apparently they're about to close down and restart in 2008, or when they're done.

I play a MMOTBS called Red Dragon - a brilliant Czech invention, but has a Polish (IMHO better) official server with different (IMHO better again) rules: http://www.reddragon.pl. There's an English version of the game even though home pages of both (the other being http://www.rd2.cz) lack in this department.

Should you start to play, prepare for some major number crunching action and lots of spreadsheet fun :)
