Segmentation fault (core dumped) ???

I've made a clean install of Ubuntu Edgy and installed spring
but I get this error every time I choose a map and a mod :

maxim@maxim-desktop:~$ spring
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

what can be the problem and were do I get more info of the problem (log?) ?
