nice detail in the texture, the slopes are a lil steep imho.
and it needs some rocks/trees/stuff... but what is there, is pretty nice!

What he said. But really a very nice texture :D And good island shapes. The lighting could be a bit more natural, too. But good!

I am really happy to see your texturing get soo much better but you need to work on layouts. Right now the map seems very uniteresting, try mimicing some natural ground formations. like hawaii.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm planning on having a second
version of this map with custom features, trees and some Geos.

You can build on some of the islands, but the your main base would
be made in the water areas. It would be mostly ships and air for
this map.

I hope you like it ... download it ... An try it out ...

The island textures looks amazing IMO, this map sure could use some of Smoth's palmettos and the little palm bushes thingy.

This line is about of "Maek a patch" fame in the development section.

sm3 maps are already supported by the mainstream version of spring, and as good as this maps looks "which is great" it would look much better in .sm3, but thats just an observation on my part not a request, there are still some isues with the format like shaders not working with a lot of ATI hardware to be sorted I believe. 8)
On the downside it would need about eight or nine texture layers, however the maps small so it would still be playable.

Looks like most would like to see this made as a sm3 map format.
I'll redo this map to reflect the new map format ...

I've only read up on the new format once ... so , it's going
to take me some time to get it right ...

I'll be starting it this week .....
