Automatic formation forming

The ability for units to form and travel as a formation would be very useful even more handy is if this was an option you could check.

Currently units spread out over long distance and end up almost single file which isn't good for any successful attack.

Try holding CTRL when issuing a move / patrol / fight order.

That only makes them assemble a formation at the target location but not while moving. If they encounter an enemy before the target point they're still an unorganized mess that makes a great target for large AOE weapons.

yes, especially because units dont over take other units.

i find that if your spamming say on sm which alot of people tend to do, smaller units get trapped and packed behind a bigger unit.

its then frustrating because as soon as you get rid of the blockage, more come and take its place.

i think units should have some sort of randomised way point , only slightly though so you wouldnt get this happening
