The Rocky part of the texture seems to be too obvious in it's repeating pattern imo...

Awesome stuff. I love the rocky parts.

It does look a bit blurry though.

+1. It looks like a ------- room floor on the minimap.

Zoomed in it looks very nice, tho.

doing the sky will make the main texture look different ingame when both are visible, so do it now and revise later.

You really need to do more with the terrain it's self. While your texturing is improving the map is like your prior work, largely flat.

I've read all the comments and redone the whole map. I've add water
and higher mountains. I still have to add some features and mex spots
before I'm done with it. So, here are some new screenies of the map"

Sorry .. smoth ...

I've complete the map. It's 20x20 now. I added the mex spots too.
I was thinking of adding trees .., but decided not too. No grass too.
The map size is around 35mb ... So, I'll be uploading in a few hours.

Here are some screenies ... I think someone might like or hate the
map name

Hey, that's not bad, GenBlood :-) I like the water- it is more realistic than many maps out there, and contributes to the POV.

The only thing that's not-so-nice for is the gravel texture, because it has a texture that has a very clear light direction, and the lightsource you're using doesn't seem to be using that light direction, which is a big deal for consistency's sake. There are probably other things going on with gameplay that I can't see yet, but it's really not a bad map overall...
