Also, before you say "NTAI", sorry, I don't like it. =/

As for tiny com.... dunno - haven't seen one.

Hate to necromance a thread, but... what? Why is there a program to set up NTAI config files, then, if it's not even supposed to be used by the public? A stupid question, I know, but with people recommending NTAI for the more "obscure" mods, I can't imagine it *not* being for public use.AF wrote:How can you not like NTai when it isnt intended for public use? NTai has a few issues and this is why there is no version of NTai with an installer and configs.
There is a tool for setting up NTai configs because back when NTai worked, nobody bothered with making configs, they just didnt know how and there wasnt many people who where bothered asking what tag did what and if something had a tag for it and how all the tags fitted together, and working with textfiles.
Since toolkit was released a lot more people have attemtped to make configs than previously, however NTai is sort of crippled at the moment by a killer crash bug, and I am unable to debug NTai, I cant even start spring.exe, so I cant fix it myself. NTai sia very powerful AI if configured correctly, and has the capacity to beat all the rival AIs hands down, as its performance comes directly from the amount of effort put into the mods config files. But at the moment its not possible to use.
Toolkit is beta software. The NTai binaries that go with it are beta binaries. Hence why toolkit uses XE9.5RC1 or XE9.5RC2 or special "XE9.23dev build" or why toolkit uses versions nubmers such as 0.24 or 0.25.
But aside from that, you cannot blame me for other people reccomending my AI, blame the other people for not obsessively going over their past posts and keeping them politically correct for the present situation. NTai works with every signle mod made for spring, the only problem is that the current version is suffering from a horrific crash bug and I havent the resources to fix it myself. Maybe people reccomend it because its the first AI to fully support EE style hubs? or NOTA? The only AI able to play nanoblobs? Or make a half hearted attempt at com shooter?
