lol, photoshop

Post by LOrDo »

Well, I just finished downloading Photoshop CS2 on dial-up internet. A remarkable feat if I may say so myself.
Haven't been able to use GIMP since it broke and wouldn't work, (tryed redownload, reinstall, registry clean, everything), so Im brand new to photoshop.
Anyone know any nice places for a newbie to get photoshop stuff? Plugins? Tutorials? Galleries? 1337 h4x?
Best part is...with a new IMP, I can finnally get back to all my dozen WIP maps.

Well, you just openly admitted being pro warez on a forum for an open source project, assuming this isn't some demo version you are talking about or there's a buy and download version which I doubt.

Photoshop was one of those programs that it's nice to have someone show you rather than write something online I find...

I actually found that having a background in the Gimp is kinda useful for learning Photoshop, although that's mainly just that the terms are the same.

Also, what are you trying to do with Photoshop? I mean, photo editing is totally different from texturing

Anyway, these are the forums for an open source project. OS does not go well together with warez. Period. So stop being a useless tard!

Look, I don't care what you do but you shouldn't make threads about the goat porn you illegally downloaded last night on a forum for an open source project.
At least 50% of the people on this board probably haven't bought the software they use, but they don't go around and tell everyone. That's the only point.

PS: You apparently haven't heard of sarcasm or are blatantly ignoring it to annoy me (which isn't going to work anyway).

Comparing photoshop to goat porn is lol.

Besides, Spring uses copyrighted material from OTA, now owned by Atari. So if your that concerned about legality, Hell, you shouldn't even BE here.

Also, who said I even downloaded illegally? Adobe offers free download links for programs on their site, don't believe me? I can link you.
You just automaticly assumed I got it as Warez. Sounds like someone has a guilty conscience.

Paint.NET is free. It's good enough for me, but I don't know your requirements.

Assuming, yes, on a theoretical basis, giving you enough time to correct me so it's your own fault anyway. You, on the other hand, kept going on making a fool of yourself. Congratulations.

Anyway, I for myself don't really care much about legality, but this puts the forums in a bad light. Of course, the chance of a shut down is nigh to zero. It's just that I have some principles which include telling people not to discuss warez in a place like this. This isn't a private playground...

Someone delete/move/lock this shit unless there was a reason behind all of this which fits in Art & Modeling. :P

Paint.net crashes whenever I try to load up a 8192x8192 texture. So yah, won't work for spring mapping.
