A few questions...

Alright, so I've been working on what is turning out to be a very promising map.. but there are a few problems:

(1)First, how does one get those metal patch graphics into the game? They do not seem to be showing up.

(2)Second.. how many metal spots (8pixel) are typical for a 16x16 map?

(3)How do I get metal rocks in there?

(3)Are geovents at all necessary?

(4)Should I cover the map in grass? Trees? I've been told it needs sprucing up :)

metal rocks need to be done with a feature map... a real mapper can explain that (or atleast link u to a tut that does)

Geos while not necessary can add strategic value to an area of the map without putting metal there... however ive heard that putting them down on a map is a little tricky...

for the love of god keep trees to a bare minimum. massive forests cause lag and when people burn them down its so much worse... use trees to spruce up some areas of the map but don't go overboard.

Oh and your numbered list is a little off :P
