I loved Shawn of the Dead. How could I not? A hillarious romantic/british comedy, WITH ZOMBIES?

I'd be MAD to not like it. And so that's why Shawn of the Dead has a permenent space on my DVD shelf. And that's why I can't wait till this movie comes out: Hot Fuzz

If you liked Shawn of the Dead you should probably watch Spaced. It's the TV series Simon Pegg ("Shawn") did before the film.
And if you liked that there's always Black Books which features the Irish Guy from Shawn of the Dead.

Both series are comedy gold

I need to grab that series. I hope they have it at my local library. But, hell, they have EVERYTHING at my local library. Oh and I forgot to say that Hot Fuzz is basically "To action films as Shawn of the Dead was to Zombie Films"

Also I was suprised at how tottally badass Simon Pegg looks in the trailer. Like really badass.

shaun of the dead is on a knife edge between hilarity and trying too hard, some bits make you roll around in hysterics, some bits barely register on the grin-o-meter.
