There goes my drinking at uni

Post by BlackLiger »

Okay, first off, here in the UK a while back we had 80mph winds. This has, amongst its other effects, torn the roof off the university owned Pavillion (the club/bar at the main accomodation in castle Irwell) putting it out of action.

Then, earlier today:

Bye Bye other student bar.

So, my uni is now alchol free, The nearest alchol being in the NONE students union pubs...

Ha. HAHAHAHAH. It'll do you good to leave student-ville.

I've been drinking at uni and non pubs for the last three years now. Uni pubs are cheap but generally serve rubbish beer and have zero atmosphere.

Heh, I don't drink that much myself (booze is for summer, when you need it to help an afternoon siesta)

So eh, no BIG deal to me, just annoying that we have to find a new place for society meetings for a lot of things...
