The first A in AAI stands for the author's first name (Alexander I think) according to its FAQ.

As for TSI, the 'TS' part is an abbreviation of "Towowa Sztuczna", or "Tow's Artificial", and the rest probably doesn't need explaining. :]

Only AF knows what NTAI is supposed to mean, so I'll let him elucidate on that.

Looking forward to your article!

thanks so far, AF mentioned TAI is based on "Threat matrixes'', but not sure if that essentially influenced the AI name

Not TAI

NTai was meant to be a showcase of how the people saying I couldnt make an AI where wrong. Since it wasnt supposed to follow the TAI designs I had but rather to simply work I called it NTai.

TAI was meant ot be Threat AI, as it would rely heavily on the concept of threats.

However NTai turned out to be much better than expected and pwned the competition for a longtime.

The XE version names are Extendable Edition. Namely because v0.29 had hardcoded tasklists internally whereas XE1 read them from textfiles so the user could edit and extend mod support.

Be sure to mention Epic AI, OTAI, MyAI, JCAI, the two random enemy routines, and helper AIs

And my name's Tom J. Nowell.
