Having serious problems Saving model in upspring

Post by Abokasee »

When ever I try to save a model in Upspring it comes up with error messages first one is: Unknown Extension, I click ok, then it says failed to save C:\Program Files\Spring Mod Stuff\*Model Name*s3o

can anyone help?

upspring is very picky about file extension names being correctly added on the save filed name every time you save. thats it

What bob means is you should be typing out the ending yourself. That's a bug. Sometimes it appends s3o to the end instead of .s3o so I think someone forgot a dot somewhere. Anyway just add .s3o manually, or 3do or obj or 3ds or what ever. Also I suggest to use "save as" instead of "save", the save function did not save the changes I made to piece names properly.

Save works for S3Os, at least for me, but use Save As whenever you are changing file formats.
