No friendly fire.

Post by Snipawolf »

We need to make it a choice if allies want friendly fire or not. In the lobby, before the game starts.

Tired of this "D-gUnzing my alieez iz zo foon!" shit... Serious games can't be played if someone purposely hurts their allies.

Careful, no FF + WMDs = easy wins.

Seems to me there was an idea put forth earlier, for commanders to have anti-dgun shields.

That wouldn't help - it still wouldn't stop the comm from dgunning everything _but_ your comm, which is still pretty bad.

I think the other way around would make more sense - nerf the commbomb but make it do full damage to commanders. So if you have a belligerent commander, you just dgun him, both comms die, and you're done with it. Go on with the game.

Or just have the d-gun from any commander in an ally team not affect anything from anyone else in that team.

Or only play with people you trust not to be fuckwads.

When discussing things like this... remember, it is impossible to create a foolproof system, because fools are so ingenious. If someone wants to be an asshat, he will be an asshat regardless of what limitations you put in place.
