Rapier hoards kill themselves
I noticed in the last game I played, that my Rapiers would shoot eachother during attacks. So I'd send in 100 and even with minimal resistance I'd be losing 20 every 10 seconds even if no one was firing back at them.
Is there someway that this can be fixed or corrected? Perhaps an adjustment to the code that governs the strafing attacks?

I like the friendly fire tags myself. It's always kinda nice/fun to use brawlers or rapiers to shoot down aircraft. Though I noticed that they don't fire at air units anymore.
I don't think it's that micro if your core and you need gunships. My tests showed that a group of 100 rapiers targeting only one spot take very very few casualties. However when shifting targets periodically the rapiers start taking heavy casualties and more than that I found that virtually all of the rapiers were holding on with a sliver of life left. So anything could take them down in one shot. If this doesn't apply to brawlers than I think that's a serious handicap to Core's air force.
The only friend fire situation I can find that's worse than the raipers is bombers in general, they tend to bomb other their own planes. I lost half of 100 in a relatively short period of time.
However, I understand you, that it's "micro" because it's theoretically easy to fix. So, if it's so easy, why not do it?

Anyone had an similar problem with subs? sometimes, then in very shallow water, the torpedos hit the ground imediatly after being shot and hurt the submarine. He keeps shooting and finishes killing hinself... but this only happened on coast to coast until now. (but in all maps if the sub is too near to his target to explosion of the torpedos will hurt him too)
