SLED 10 yay and buah

Post by PauloMorfeo »

Finally managed to burn the DVD with SuseLED 10 and it is now running on my second HDD. Hot, hot, hot!

Off to put the super sexy XGL grafical enviroment running.
List of card known to work or not in "xgl-hardware-list":
# Non-Xgl-compatible ATI cards
B 1002:4752 # Rage XL
B 1002:4c66 # Radeon R250 Lf [FireGL 9000]
BAH!!!
BAH, BAH, BAH!!!

It doesn't seems to bring wine for me to play Spring and others... Guess i'll have to install that myself (luckily there seems to be a instaler for suse 10).

But the goodness of a OS can only really be apreciated after some days of use. Let's see if it outshines Suse 9.3

 I want XGL...

I find the Expose clone to be *very* valuable whenever I have more than 3 windows open. Which happens quite a lot. So, XGL is far from useless for me.

There's no reason not to use it once it's stable anyway. Too bad it isn't yet.
