All Mapping Tools

Post by Forboding Angel »

It seems as though there have been a rash of mappers not being able to edit maps properly due to not being able to find the correct tools.

I have compiled a zip of all the mapping tools you should need.

SMFED
Grout_2
The compiler
Geovent.bmp
fs.txt

As well as all of the files needed by the compiler. I have also added a tips paragraph to the batch file, with some little known tips that may help new (and some old) mappers out.

File available here: http://springfiles.com/spring/tools/mapping-tools

Edit: I should have never listened to Knorke. Outdated tools re-added because you never know when you actually need them (Like Grout).

What about my Water Height Thingy? Some people seem to find it handy.

It can on;y support up to a max height of 500, so I don't use it a whole lot. However, mappers that make maps for AA could find it quite useful I agree. I honestly didn't think about it.

Any chance you would make it so that a max height of 1000 could be used?

I'll post a "v2" with it in there as is. Gimmie a bit.

http://www.unknown-files.net/index.php? ... &dlid=1726 <--- New version of the water height thingy. The sliders in this one go on an exponential scale, from 0 to ~10000, and you can set exact values by right clicking on them.

Grout is a program I made for putting L3DT tiles back together. Also there is a slightly newer version of SMFED with a water height thingy.
