Its a manga thing from Japan, which talks of the history of Afghanistan and the Middle East. When the creator accidentally spread a virus to many other people through a P2P network, he stopped working on the sequel.

clicky

example: America in the mange:

The only problem with having one charicter represent one nation is that you can only have a vauge, generale (some would say steriotypical) view of a single country.

I would have liked it more if Meriken's bio read: "An overly strong bumbler who TRIES to do the right thing...and falls flat on her face most of the time".

But thats just me.

Its worse when the steryotype is true

But...meh. I have no say in what my country is doing. If I protest the death squ-.

Oh right...not supposed to tell that to outsiders.

America is great!

I was being sarcastic.

No I wasn't.

Yes I was.

ok... Lets say you had to leave america and couldn't come back. Where would you go?

South america's out. North america isn't THAT bad...

Then there's europe.

France? Nah, not so much.

England? Not a bad choice by any means imo, except imo it also leave quite a bit to be desired, however, currancy is very strong.

Middle east is out (one can only hope).

Africa, lack of internet access.

Australia, neato place, not really my cup o tea though.

China, heh, fat chance.

Japan, currency is extremely strong, economic giant, not real super nice though, however, a pretty cool place regardlesss.

Spain, meh.

Netherlands, neato place for a visit, once again, not really my cup o tea.

Sorry for the countries I didn't mention, but I imagine that all in all you really wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world. For all it's greats and faults, America remains one of the best (if not the best) places in the world to live.

One thing you need to realize is that American media for all intents and purposes is not a whole lot more than propoganda, with a little bit of real news mixed in. Funny how they don't tell you the entire story; only the things they want you to believe. Sad part is it works.

If you hate America (not speaking specifically of Zoombie here), then why the hell are you here? Mexico's population is thinner by the day due to all of them coming here. Why don't people in America that hate america so much just fricking go to mexico or canada? Hell Canada needs ppl badly. All that space and no one to fill it...

Edit: BTW the stereotype (in particular the one you referance Zoombie) is NOT true. It's a load of bullfunk.

Forb, just to make it absoluetely clear, I was joking. America is a very very nice place to live. Its also a nice country, in general, and I belive that we ARE doing good things, at large.

So I rank America A C+ (Modern Day).

My grading scales goes:

A (Starfleet)

B (Babylon 5, post 2270)

C (Modern Day)

D (Industrial Revolution, or things like it)

F (Dark Ages, or things like it)

So we just need to get to the unrealistic utopia of A and everything will be fine.

Ahh, sorry about that Zoombie. It's a bit of leftover frustration...

I have to work with a guy that is about as far left as you could possibly get. For all intents and purposes a socialist-communist. Whenever anything remotely political happens he and his stupid fucking conspiricy theories are all he will talk about, and I end up having to listen to this bullshit all fucking day long.

The guy thinks Michael Moore is one of the great men of our time FFS. Oh and btw, there were no planes involved on 911

The level of stupidity I have to deal with everyday is probably the reason why I'm as abrasive as I am at times. Generally I can ignore it. He's an ok guy as long as politics aren't involved. As soon as something political happens he turns into dumbasshattedretardation mode.

I used to love my job at one point. Something happened :(

Oh man, don't get me started on the conspiracy nuts. Left, I can deal with. In fact...I am a slightly left person. But conspiracy nuts...those guys just make me MAD.

Also anyone else think that Michal Moor AND Ann Coulter should be locked in a room togehter. I want to see if eventually the old maxiem of 'Opposits attract' and they have a passel of mutant octopus super babys within a few days of arguing madly at eachother, then fall madly in love. I mean...can't get more opposit then those two wackos.

I think the best stance is nutraility. Both the Right and the Left side of the issue have good things and bad things, so if we just took the good and mashed them together in the 'Beige party' or something...

Socialist: The state serves the people
Nationalist: The people serve the state
Liberal: Everyone serves the money
Despot: I am the (people/state/money)!

Now someone find a way to make this topic relate to Spring. Election wars mod, anyone?

An Election Wars mod? Well, here's some ideas: You stuff ballot boxes, register dead people as your party's voters, intimidate illiterate and abused minorities who wouldnt vote for you, and lobby election precints to use electronic voting machines that everyone knows are insecure. Bribery and "personal donations" could be super weapons, even.

You know what? On second thought, I don't think it would be fun. Games are supposed to *remove* you from reality, after all...

In any case Election Wars would have to be played on the Spring Monopoly map...
