Ok. Error again. Something about a missing file. I think it may be to do with Open GL

GL_ARV_texture_env_combine not found.

I believe dxdiag has a lot of good info that might help people debug your problem.

1. Go to Start --> Run
2. Type dxdiag and click OK.
3. The "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" window will appear and start scanning.
4. Click the "Save All Information" button in the bottom right.
5. Post the contents of the text file but you may want to cut out everything after the "[System Devices]" section.

GL_ARB_texture_env_combine should be included in all new graphic drivers if your graphic card supports it. Make sure to download the latest the latest drivers for whatever graphic card you have.

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400

As the readme states spring only works on a GF3 or better, sorry.

I get the following error upon trying to run the Battleroom:

.NET Framework Initialization Error
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded

I suppose it has something to do with that whole .NET crap. I hate that thing. What should I do?

SpikedHelmet2:

I think you might have to install .net framework 1.1 . Should be downloadable from windows update or something.

I suggest changing the subject of this post to something like "GL_ARV_texture_env_combine not found" so that:

a. People getting the same error will see this post has an answer to their problem.

b. People will not keep posting in the same thread, and will hopefully start their own threads.

I'm getting a connection timeout exception popup when I attempt to either Connect or Register via the battleroom, this is probably because of the fact that I'm behind a proxy server here at school. Anyway, I hope that there is some hope for me.

PS: I noticed some information about a GPL licence. Is this simply for the custom content distributed with Spring, or is there hope of actually getting some source code?

edit: *oops* in response to amekkawi, but I think that we were typing in parallel.

I think it is best if new threads are created for new problems.

BlackLiger: I know, and I wasn't talking about your post!

I meant the other problem reports that was added to this thread. If many different problems are discussed in the same thread it will be very confusing...

Do you mean it actually DOESN'T WORK on geForce 4, or you have to turn down the graphics?

SJ meant that it does not work on Geforce 2 or lower. On GeForce 4 it should work though.
