Bigger palette to color selector in lobby client

Post by TradeMark »

Now i can set 8 colors, would be better if you could set like 32 colors.

Why? Faster to change player colors if there are many same kind colors...

That looks great! Though there is not that what i wanted... I was talking about the fast color picker, which is under the side selector.

But i think there should be only one lobby program...
Maybe you could make it with Betalord?

Why? We should have a choice and AF is using an entirely different language.

Aww, then they cant make it together :(

Well, why? Because then we dont need to update 100 different clients if spring gets new features. Much easier to update only one...

At least, they should look same, only different features in each client!!
Chat should be exactly same looking as in current version.

You have Altamod for that. Maybe some people don't like the look of the current client?

This is an opensource project; people can develop whatever the hell they want for it.

Ya ya this is opensource, but it should be stable, not like 10 different versions of the client or etc.

I dont like too many choises for some program :| But of course the current client will always be the which can be downloaded from official site...

Chat font should be always same for all users, no matter what client, all emoticons (or whatever they are called as) will look same, and so on.

Also when there is only one program for client, then its much easier to update it. Like if 3 dudes makes it, anyone of them can fix some bug or add new features, which makes developing faster.
Unfortunately those all 3 clients are programmed with different languages?

Of every single suggestion anyone has ever made from MTR to 'you should all get together and make an Uber AI', that is the one suggestion that is the most ridiculously impossible thign that could ever happen. Betalord would never agree to it and I would never want to work in delphi on a lobby, i would never want to work the way betalord has worked and I would never want to work on TASClient ro any lobby of a similair design, and my experience with working with betalord can be summed up in the words annyoing fustrating and uncooperative, he's not willing to compromise.

TASClient can never be ported to linux, and has serious GUI flaws in its design. Thats why i wanted to start my own lobby to give the community something that was pretty, intuitive, eays to use, and straight forward, while being very powerful and very strogn at what it did. I choose java because of the wide availability of documentation and the ease with which I can throw up a working GUI, aswell as the fact I know that whatever I do will work on Mac/*nux/Windows without any work.

I take the very suggestion as an insult. I'd sooner go work on KAI.
