Supreme Battlefield - 24x24?

Post by KlavoHunter »

We all know and love the 16x16 Small Supreme Battlefield, and the 32x32 Supreme Battlefield is, well, prone to lagging.

However, in a game, myself and others realized what we really wanted - a 24x24 version of Supreme Battlefield!

Would the maker of Supreme Battlefield, or perhaps someone else, please step forward and make this?

He never answered my query about the inability to load the 32x32 version. However, it wouldn't have been worth it anyway... I always need to take the sea, and there isn't any metal there because of certain personal preferences...

I'd like a 24x24, but please, somebody put minimal (Five spots an ocean?) metal in the bloody water!

I think a 24x24 Supreme Battlefield would be great as well, though I'd prefer it without metal in the water. I'd still be happy either way!

You could try the very similar original version of the map which is 28 x 28...

Bare in mind its not quite the same as NOiZE's version.

I know about that version, and it's by far inferior. There's a reason I suggested a version of Supreme Battlefield at that size, instead of that version.

aGorm maps are good but they tend to be low metal wich has implications that arent to nice. For one XTA and AA seems to be what he has in mind when making them, and to be honest the lower metal is a nuisance/deterrent not a feature.

Yhe yhe yhe, great, did you even read my post??? I said:

Hell, I've never heard of you befor, how was I to know if you had seen it or not anyway. So thanks for the neadlessly condesending tone. Next time just post "I know, but its not what I'm after", insted of belitteling remarks.

And Just so you know, NOiZE's version would not have existed if I hadn't given him the heightmap.

And also the lack of metal is atleast better than them being all metal. And if anyone bothered to give them a few trys theyed realise that actully less metal just means you have to play a different game plan. Its not hard.

::EDIT:: Oh and I'm not defending that maps existance, I'm just saying Maybe someone somewere mighht actully like it.

::EDIT:: Look what you've done Im ranting now...

::EDIT:: Im realy pissed off. Why cant people just acept the way things are.

I'm sorry, but your opinion is not all inclusive and if you continue to voice it as such we will stop listening to you at all.

abbel u need to STFU. Have u made anything for this game?? i can't recall anything and that must be for one of two reasons:

1. u haven't made anything

or

2. what u made sucked so bad that i have forgotten about it

If aGorm hadn't done his map there wouldn't even be a Small Supreme Battlefield. Noize took aGorm's height map modified it, added his own metal map(?), and then released it as Supreme Battlefield (new texture as well).
