This about the noise effect that was in one of the beta builds, the first with custom explosions, that then got dumped because of problems with ATI cards.
I would realy like to see this re-implemented because it looked nice on deflector sheilds, the blueness thing applied only to explosions, deflector sheilds had no problem when the noise was applied.
Others may have to confirm if they had blueness problems with sheilds, but if possible this would be nice to have.
It would also be nice to have the noise effect aplied to nanolathing objects, because this looked quite nice in the TA intro.
