72b1 issues.

Post by smoth »

Ok, I know you guys have tons of stuff to do but these are a few things:

levelground=0;
this is all fine and good, I like it. However there are two issues:

1(major): because we have no controll of 3do hitspheres the large underground extension causes the hitsphere to be huge.
Fix suggestion: FBI Tags, SphereRad(the radius), SphereOrg(sets the origon of the sphere based off of and offset from the base model origon. can be negative)

2(Minor): when a building dies it's corpse does not remain upright, it levels out with the terrain. Which means that the model's underground extension will poke out the other side.

GroundDecals

They work well, however when I go into an enemy base, I do not see the enemy decals. This caused some amount of confusion, I am sure it is unintended.

If you guys can find the time, please address these issues.

I disagree with the ground decal thing, but instead there's a different bug.

For me the ground decals appear when playing KAI BUT when the buildings go out of LOS, the decals remain so it's like ghosted buildings where turned on.

Better yet, let us attach it to a piece in the script (QuerySweetspot?). The fbi tag for radius I agree with though
