Alright, AI is not working properly... help please?

Sorta a newbie here, although I will give the details of what is going on. Thanks for your patience.

Just downloaded a clean copy of the ta_spring 0.72b1, and AA Spring 20.

Used the installer (nice jobe guys!) for the 72b1, and unzipped AASpring20 and put all the files in the mods folder.

Going into a battleroom and Hosting a battle with AI (only EmptyAI and NTAI have options). Upon entering the game the AI are 'not building, and hanging out in the corners of the map'.

I have read some other discussions about the \TASpring\aidll\globalai\NTAI and setting up a Data folder which I did.

I have also read in the messageboard that others were having luck with the AII, AI? I only have the NTAI in my globalai folder???

Question: what is the problem with my setup?

Definitely need some help here, I need to pratice this game as I have a very pesky friend who is taunting me. I guess it doesn't help that I can't even get it started.....

You need to install the AI's as well, the NTAI bundled with the installer does not even work with the new version (I think so anyways).

Only KAI and NTAI work so far with the current version, I will grab you some links in a second, or you can look at their threads in this forum.

And the NTAI link appears to be borked for me.. somone else could help you with that one.

wtf settign up a data directory. hmmm how did you manage to goto a thread months old while missing the big NTai thread at the top of the AI forum with installer written all over it......

Trying to download that KAI link just returns a 403 from fileuniverse. Someone needs to reconfigure their permissions correctly.
