LOS/Radar/jammer range view not shown/colorized properly

Post by Licho »

Radar and jammer view (bound to L and some F key at default) is not colorized properly (not using green/dark green/yellow colors).

Instead it's just using shades of gray (and you can't tell whether some area is jammed or not).

This behavior is sometimes spontaneously fixed during game.

yeah.

I think this is a GREAT feature of spring, and it shouldnt be turned off by default. (maybe changeable in settings program).

New players must be faced with this, or they wont learn its great (vital) use.

Please dont take it as a complain, but otherwise the greenradar field would be hidded/hard to find for many.

I agree with Mongus, it should be on by default and then ppl can turn it off if they want.

Is it intended for people to play in this new LOS mode permanently? In which case I'll have to try it out...

The green radar range is shown by default in the next release. You can still use ';' to toggle it on or off.

If posible, increase the update rate while you're at it.

Is it realy that bad? the update rate is rediculously low right now, to the point where it's not realy usefull as an accurate real-time representation of what you can see...

Mine neither, but continualy havving to ram L just to get a decent representation of what I can see is annoying.
