Looks hot to me, I'm downloading it.

On the side, what other maps are you kicking around these days?

Hmm... Ingame, the texture looks really nice, but the minimap looks really bright and ugly...

Probably the detail texture darkening it.

You are correct, the minimap does look particularly fugly, but the texture looks really great.

The detail does do a great bit of darkening textures so I believe you are correct on the point as well.

@neddiedrow, well I'm working on riverdale (with Secure's permission of course), to get the metal distribution balanced, but due to the restrictions(and I perfectly understand the reason for them) he placed upon me it's a bit hard to get it right :D

Honestly it's really hard for me not to make more desert maps. I love them so mcuh. SO desolate and alone. It just draws me. I think I'mma start working on some more arctic maps though, cause I really like those too :D

Arctics, if looked at it the right way, are just another form of desert. Wastelands posses the isolation of deserts with the forlornness of a bombed out city...if you have the proper features, of course. This is a very pretty map, FA, and I look forward to playing it...eventually.

I'm a little suprised that no one said anything about the water. Unfortunately my screenshot angle sucked, and it is reflecting a mixture of the fog and sky.

It is actually quite dark blue in reality.

I do believe that this is an improvement. My last texture for pathways was better than the first, which was pretty much gawdawful, and I think this one is pretty much exactly what I wanted for it.

It's really really tough to get grass to be vibrant green. I've been playing around with various settings, but I havn't gotten it perfect yet. I'll keep chugging away on it.

I've been kicking around some ideas for maps myself... I find there are a few things I like a lot in concept...

1. Islands
2. Deserts
3. Taiga
4. Tundra
5. Mining Installations
6. Cityscapes
7. Ruins

Now, I just need to hone my skills and learn enough to try one of the many Spring projects I plan to take on.[/list]

I'd say that's your best offering yet, FA, when it comes to grass texture. Job well done.
