Post by AF »

Which mod should the next NTai version have in the big installer version?

PS :: EE may be a little too big so I'm not sure but I've included it anyways

Concur.

TBH the only reason I downloaded NTAI was to get Nanoblobs 0.4 as i couldn't find it on its own.

Have 3 versions:

NTai extra (installer): NTai + SpringSP + a few good NTai compatible mods
NTai standard (installer): NTai + SpringSP
NTai vanilla (.zip file): NTai.dll - SpringSP + AI folder

hmm, no "none of the above." But then again, AF did say "in the big installer version?".
It wouldn't be a good move to put AA in, seeing as how it already dominates and has caused a touch of frustration and/or animosity from players of other mods...

submarine the problem there is that usually players dont even cosnider other mods once they have AA on there machine which is why i'll never add AA to the mix.

Looks like people want the mod stuff taken out, next version will not have a mod in it.

ok agreed, but i dont think its the right way to spread other mods

but i have the following suggestion:

why dont you use some nice screenshots of less famous mods ntai works well with (ee? gundam? ff?) as background pics for your ntai installer? perhaps with the name of the mod displayed as well, so ppl become curious and try out other mods?

Hate to tell ya, but AA gets boring for me and Chrispin pretty fast, we like assortments and groups of things to play, we like FF and EE more anyways, I don't care about what gets bundled, however it would be best to have the Ai only,

PS: Isn't there a pattern here, AA, FF, and EE, or mebbe I'm the only one to notice
