Yeah. We need to fix that. If the Commander was, say, fifty storys tall and fired tactical nukes from his arms, then he would stay usefull.

Simple solution to "keep the Commander useful": make the Commander the only unit in the game that can build nuclear silos and LRPCs. By the time you can build one, you're already at L2 anyways so it's not like it changes the game dynamic that much, but makes it much more Commander-centric.
