okay, actually it has tons of 'WOW' to it, but it's actually not a whole lot more advanced than Spring is. The three primary things that I saw in it that Spring doesn't have are:
1.) smooth, fluid camera control (and screenshaking, which really puts you into the battle)
2.) music
3.) death animations
Spring can already do or come pretty close with the rest of it, like the walking destroyers (A pelican animation, but currently with the Spring engine I think that only units that are technically hovercraft can do that), the troopship loading/unloading (not a real big thing), and.... I can't think of anything else really, SupCom's advantage over Spring is in the content sector.
