I mucked around with the terrain colour for what seems like forever, its difficult to get them to match exactly.

Oh and the size is 32 x 32

Hey that's excellent! So it's superb for huge 10 player battles and for the ded. server.

how much wind is there?
I would say on such a map the wind should give around 18-26Energy.

Thought it might be, will reduce that a little

- metal spots look a bit weird
They are ota ice world metal patches and I think they look great :-)

They are not my features and I don`t do features so unless it can be fixed in the maps lighting via the .smd I won`t be fixing that.
Actually when you look at other maps using these features they look the same, personally I think they fit quite well but do agree they would look better if they where lighter in colour for this particular map.

you could retouch the texture a bit... make sure the alpha channel stays in tact

I Think it looks very ok! Like the smooth snow hills, and those ice-rocks aren't that bad, i like them!

I can definatly image huge water-wars take place there :D

Will download it when time lets me.

keep it up!

The ice crystals should be a different hue to break up the monotonous of the landscape.

And for the last time I AM NOT THE CREATOR OF THESE FEATURES AND I DON`T DO FEATURES, so unless someone steps up and volunteers to modify them this is how they will stay GOT IT...moron.

here it is again for your benefit

Can't say I blame you too much. You have any idea how many of my maps I've considered doing this very thing on?

More than a few.

People just like to bitch, many of the forumgoers have no respect or not enough for the work that mappers do.

BTW I really liked the way it looked.

Notice I stopped putting out a map every week? This is one of the reasons, I really get sick of the bitching about something that I spent TONS of hours making and getting right.

Meh

I have yet to make my mind up, but this may be the last map I submit.

Seems i've arived too late to see or PLAY the map, but keep it up. Every new map is better (or it should be) and bitchers are everywhere. They are not nearly as previlent as they are in some other sites I can name...

hey, calm down.
At least he said more than one time, that he's not the one who makes features.
still waiting for the new version of the map with less wind.
And I LIKE arctic maps for great sea battles.
