Okay im starting a new thread since it is no longer an idea.

Here is the current situation:

As of now 75-85% Imperial Guard models are done. im currently finishing off the air units then i will move on to factories. The only textured items are the two completed super heavies and the Warhound Titan. There are still some scripting problems with certain IG units, not sure exactly, as I haven't talked to Guessmyname in a bit. We are going to go all .s3o for the units. I have a problem in that my wings install dies if i try to UVmap so... can't really do anything with that. I, personally, would like to complete the Imperial Guard and then release the lone race for people to test/enjoy.

good news when you release the IG as a stand alone 1st i will be most happy! any idea on what other races you'll be doing?

thx for the heads up Noize itll be fixed. as to ur question raik we/I am not sure as to the second race. for now we want to concentrate on the Imp Guard, however make ur choice known by takin the race poll on the forums

heh already did J5 i'm an imperial (1st) and Tau (2nd) player. Sill really lookign forward to an imperial release.
Oh by the way will you be including the Manticore ground to ground missile? if so will it be old spec (with the 4 missiles on top) or new spec (2 missiles on either side)

My manticore model has two missiles on either side

The scripty thing was scriptor's fault. Scripts work now

The mod is NOT 75-80% complete! There's only about 10 units ingame and only 3 are textured (Benitos)!

Also, I can't get that ftp thingy to work. Couldn't you just upload them to FU and pm me the links for anything you need getting ingame?

Excellent new spec then the new forgeworld stuff makes me so much happyer than alot of the old epic stuff.

Remember folks if u have ideas, suggestions, or help to offer drop a thread in the forum.

UPDATE sitll working on the Lightning fighter. its a weird thing to model but im getting close.

Game is in cold storage. ETA to defrost: uhh.... whenever i can get a dedicated group of people to work on this so.... eternity.

My problem of sorts is that if i want these to be s3o i need someone to uvmap and texture all of GMN's models. or i could just do them as .3dos in which case i would need scripting help. That and i still need someone to make the buildings and the remaining units for the IG. the "plan" was to get the IG completed and working ingame and then add the Orcs afterwards.

So basically i need:
-texture peeps (uvmap is optional)
-scriptors
-modelers

but ill only work on it if people are gonna stick with it and not just wander off when they get bored.

w00t double!!

while i can do all the modeling myself some help would be appreciated. that and im still a bit of a noob so my models aren't exactly crisp and clean polycount wise.

If dedicated team gets together i can get some development space setup for us to bounce ideas off one another and maybe make some progress beyond the Superheavies that got put ingame a while back.

You know, I can check with Smoth and Fang for potential aid as they have a nice network of people who are willing to work together. GMN might actually still be interested, though he is running some stuff for the new FF these days.

I'll see what I can rustle up...

meh i would rather get FF done as that is a mod i truly like (and is pretty well planned out) Fang and Smoth have their own thing but i know if i needed help on something specific not "make my mod" they would jump in immeadiately.
