Question Regarding Mods & Spring.exe

Post by DFA_Zero »

I have just been playing by clicking on Spring.exe (in its folder).
What I accept being the server, how can I find out more information about the scripts?
Also, how do I play with new units or mods while playing is that mode of play?

I think you can find all the info in the wiki.
If not add it in the wiki once you find out.

Instead try using SpringSp, its the best for playing offline that is available at the moment and it'll give all those options you want

From my understanding, basically, Spring.exe runs hard coded scripts compiled into it, there was a script for swta at one point in the list... my understanding is that you can create a script that will load a given mod, which is what springSP creates and passes to Spring.exe as a command line argument.

I went over to Downloads and couldn't find springSP.
Could you post a link to it? (had even looked on Google)
