Technically speaking Canadians are americans... So are Chileans, Brazillians, etc.

Drexion is American and a mod, but he's not on too often.

Forboding Angel seems to be on most of the time that I'm on - and I'm in the main channel a lot - maybe he'd be a good choice? (Yeah, I'm on a lot, too, but I'm guessing that I'm not pr0 enough to be a mod...)

It has been brought to my attention that, as Betalord said in another thread, that will be taken care of in a recent future with the addition of american-time-zoned moderators from the Linux port effort, probably around the time of the next patch.

This is as much a joke as saying the next patch is due out today. That would be unfortunately little, unfortunately late. Way way way way too little, way way way way way way too late, actually. There need* to be more mods in the american+oceania TZ's then currently exist in the european ones.

This has been a serious problem for on the order of a month or so now. Read that as "Every day for the last month a plurality of the players have been putting up with grief because Betalord refuses to add moderators who are on at the times they are on."

Perhaps if Betalord added 3 such mods now and then that one later, it might suffice. I barely even care who he adds just so long as he adds them and they are not horribly innapropriate choices. [Can always un-mod & ban people who abuse it]

Let me make my case clear:
IMNSHO Betalord needs to find and add multiple mods in non-european timezones ASAPOr Sooner.

"We're" getting VERY tired of asking nicely, and dropping [less and less] subtle hints.

"We" make up [close to, if not the] majority of the active community and "we're" tired of being ignored. Doubly so when it requires all of a few seconds of work - Ignoring all of our pleading must take more energy.

The status quo will not be tolerated ad-infinitum. There only seem to be 2 solutions to the problem... Betalord can either take the simple step of adding mod's to cover the major TZ's (aka Betalord "playing nice with others"), or eventually the others will leave. What is doubly frustrating is not understanding why he is intentionally driving a wedge into the community.

Did this thread really need to be bumped?

If you guys want to talk about this issue more then I'll leave the thread open but if there's just gonna be more spam here then I'll lock it.
